Your artwork is like a combination of dragon quest and sponge bob square pants. SOooooo Strange. It was a great watch. Keep it up!

It was nice and all..

but seriously. When will this thing die. It isn't really that amazing to animate over some video! Hell your just talking about yourself. Whenever I go to newgrounds these days I feel like I just checked myself into a self help club

you really should have animated

the break dancing. It was VERY noticeable when the camera never switched to the dancers and it just lingered on the guy.

I absolutely 100% agree with you. I think it is important for myself as an animator to know my limits however, and I know I would not be able to do a break dance scene justice so I decided to leave it up to the viewer's imagination.

I do learn more about the animation medium with every short we do, so hopefully in the future I will not have to make such cuts. I also hope to build a network with some of the great animators here on New Grounds that can help me with such things, so if anyone out there is interested in helping with a "Sketched" project, just give me the heads up.

this was very good

The animation was, in general, superb. The reason I am giving it an 8 is because animation, in an animation, is not everything. I hate to be a grouch but I felt as though I was watching one of those shorts on a teletubby's show. That you neglected a key part of the animation purposefully(now that I read your comment) is even more disheartening. I would like to think that people should put their all in a newgrounds animation.

I put my all into it... all I could muster. You need to understand that the animation industry is by and large compartmentalized, animators do the animation (the acting of the characters), storyboarders and script writers come up with the story, voice actors and sound effects guys do their bit and a director oversees the whole thing. I am just one man, and an animator at that, so I think I did a pretty good job. And what's wrong with the Teletubbies? :3

getting sucked into the atmosphere of your animation very easily watching this. It all looks like it is all from one series. The music helped too.

seems like you have had enough practice. Try doing a real story! These characters are stupid and they don't draw me in AT ALL. 3 days my ass. anybody could do this in three days. Just put effort into your flash. If your gonna keep doing these for practice could you stop submitting them?
